this area is only accessible via zipline or the lazy river and has scenes some customers may find offensive

the temple of kukulcan - which was the centrepiece of the city of chichen itza - was built by the mayan people from around the 8th century C.E and can be access via the south side entrances. The mayans used human sacrifice to appease their gods and we have a re-enactment of this bloody ritual on one of the temples four staircases. At the foot of each staircase sits a cenote (swimming pool) two of the four cenotes provide spectacular springboards from which to do a swan dive into their respective waters. The third gives an opportunity to visit another dimension via the black hole which lies at its depths. the purpose of the fourth (lying at the foot of the sacrificial staircase) I will leave  to your imagination!!!!!
